Mahesh Chander Mehta was born on October 12, 1946, in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. He grew up in a small village, Dhangri, in the district of Rajouri. There, he gained a deep and abiding love of nature. This, in turn, led to a commitment to fight against all injustice, particularly that being perpetrated against the environment. |
